Executable Actions introduces a standalone task layer for the farm. An action is a discrete farm task, like scouting a plot, applying an input or checking on equipment. Each one is tied to a single plot, several plots or the whole farm, and carries a due date, a category, an assignee and a full status lifecycle: Scheduled, Overdue, Skipped, and Completed with a result of Successful, Partial or Unsuccessful.
Feature 01Manual action creation
Actions can be created from four entry points: the home screen quick action pill, the Farm Profile, a Plot Profile, and the global plus menu. The creation sheet covers name, due date, category, plot or farm assignment (up to 10 plots via a searchable multi select), assignee, and an optional description that can be typed or dictated with the same voice component used in Field Notes.
Feature 02Action detail and status management
Every action has a detail view showing status, due date, category, plot badge, assignee, description and linked field notes. From there you can complete it with a result, skip it, reopen it, rename it or delete it. A persistent Ask ORTH button opens a chat with the action's full context injected automatically, so ORTH can reason over its history without any manual attachment.
Feature 03Team assignment
On the Teams bundle, any teammate can create an action and assign it to anyone on the team. Once an action exists, only its creator or current assignee can change it. Everyone else sees the controls disabled rather than hidden, so the state of each task stays visible to the whole team.
Feature 04Field Notes linkage
Actions and Field Notes are cross linked in both directions. From an action you can see its most recent linked notes and add a new note pre linked to it. From the notes list, any note linked to an action shows the action's name and takes you straight to it.
Feature 05Overdue flagging on the map
A nightly job in your local timezone moves any Scheduled action past its due date to Overdue and colors each plot's border on the home map: red when a plot has an overdue action, blue when it has an action due today, so the day's priorities are visible before opening a single list.
